A family in
modern-day Alaska enters a traditional Clan House to listen to their
Great Uncle, a Tlingit Elder, reveal the mysteries of Kusah Hakwaan. The
Elder weaves an adventurous story of two young brothers, Shawan and
Yuntun, who long ago set out to conquer a mythical monster threatening
their village. The tale moves between contemporary and spiritual realms,
echoing a gripping saga of evil, heroism, and the ancient Trickster
Raven. The film Kusah Hakwaan has traveled the world, winning both
international awards and critical acclaim. A Sean Morris film produced
by Alaskan Nomad Productions.

"What at first glance feels like a little fairytale
movie is - upon closer inspection - a powerful look into the world of
legends. Welcome to Alaska's own version of the Brothers Grimm!"
