Hoonah Teacher Project
The Hoonah Teacher Project is designed to enhance education in Hoonah by:
- Introducing Hoonah teachers and staff to the Tlingit humanities;
- Integrating Tlingit humanities strands throughout Hoonah's middle and high school curriculum; and,
- Training Hoonah teachers and staff to use computer technology as a teaching tool
The program is sponsored by Sealaska Heritage Institute through a grant by the National Endowment for the Humanities, in partnership with Hoonah City Schools. (Photos)
