SHI is co-sponsoring an exhibit at the Juneau-Douglas City Museum of an ancient fish trap discovered in 1991. The basketry-style fish trap was excavated from Montana Creek in Juneau and radiocarbon dated between 500-700 years old. Basketry fish traps are rarely found and little local archaeological material can be seen on exhibit in the capital city.  The museum is located at 4^th and Main Streets.
