William Paul, Jr., took the following photos for the book
"The Home Care of the
Tuberculosis" by Frances Paul. The book includes this disclaimer:
“This book is illustrated with photographs of real people, who posed to
help us show how tuberculosis can be controlled and arrested in the
home. In real life, the people who posed do not belong to the same
family, and none of them has tuberculosis. In the book we shall call
them the Brown family, but they might be YOU or YOUR family. In the
story, the Brown family lives in a small town where the Alaska Native
Service maintains a Field Nurse.” These photos did not make it into the
book, so the people here are not identified. Can you identify any of the people, places,
