Juried Art Show 2004 Winners

Sealaska Heritage Institute sponsored its second Juried Art Show in 2004. The goal of the program is to challenge artists to reach new levels in their work and to expand their knowledge and appreciation of the excellence achieved by our forefathers. Twenty-two Alaska Native artists submitted 46 pieces for the show and jurors Robert Davidson and Aldona Jonaitis selected 28 pieces by 14 artists for exhibit. The following pieces were on display at the Sealaska Lobby through July 2, 2004. (Video: Windows Media or RealOne) (Photos of Opening and Awards Ceremony) Click any photo to enlarge.
